South Dakota Property Rights Group: Take Action Now!

Stop the Navigator and Summit Carbon Pipelines

Your Property, Your Rights, Your Voice

We are at a critical juncture. The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission is on the verge of making a decision that could forever change the landscape of our beautiful state. The Navigator and Summit Carbon Pipelines are seeking permits to build across our lands, and we must act now to protect our property rights.

PROTECT SOUTH DAKOTA

Why Should You Care?

  1. Eminent Domain: Summit Carbon Solutions has already initiated over 80 lawsuits against landowners in various counties. They are petitioning the courts to exercise their “privilege” of eminent domain1.
  2. Safety Concerns: Both pipelines intend to collect CO2 from ethanol plants and deliver the waste product to underground disposal sites. The safety of such operations is still under debate.
  3. Violation of Property Rights: Landowners have reported that Summit entered their property without permission for surveying.
  4. Environmental Impact: The pipelines could potentially harm our environment and disrupt the natural beauty of South Dakota.

What Can You Do?

  1. Contact the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission: Make your voice heard. Tell them to deny the permit for these pipelines.
  2. Join the Rally: Over 500 people have already stood for property rights at the South Dakota capitol building. Be part of the next rally.
  3. Spread the Word: Share this message with your friends, family, and community. The more people know, the stronger our voice will be.
  4. Legal Support: If you are directly affected, consider seeking legal advice. Many landowners are already fighting back.

Act Now!

Time is of the essence. The Public Utilities Commission is expected to make its decision soon. Let’s stand united to protect our land, our rights, and our future.
